This 1987 Harley FLHTC with factory sidecar is amazingly rare. HOW RARE IS IT??? Spoke to the Harley Davidson factory and spoke to a very knowledgeable lady who said, "Richard, do you know what you have? I said, "I think I have a Harley with a sidecar" and she replied..."You have much more than that".

She continued by saying that this 1987 Harley with factory sidecar was one of 140 ever built for that year. The color gold and white was the most popular color with 61 being produced in that color combo. And she continued by saying that with attrition and people removing the sidecar because they didn't know what they had or didn't like it and wrecks and just the age of the unit, she believed there were probably 10 or less left in the country if not the world. And with mine having 2313 original miles, it was most likely the lowest mileage one in existance. So I was smiling.

Several people have asked me for the sidecar VIN. So here it is and a picture is directly below this. The VIN is 1HD8SFX19HT010114

It has so many nice options....optional lighting and "bling". It's truly loaded. And the original stereo works just fine...Thank You. It's very quiet with the original exhaust system. It runs great...just was tuned and all fluids changed. It's nice.

And like I said, it has 2313 original miles at the time of this posting....Here's the odometer.

The clutch lever pressure required to operate the bike was way too firm for me. So I had a harley clutch lever pressure reducer installed. Much easier for me.

Hey.....Jay Leno....if you should see this page and are interested...give me a call : )...for reals. 915-276-1505.
