THIS 2001 BMW R-SERIES R1200C-PHOENIX IS A TRUE BLEND OF FUNCTION AND BEAUTY. AND WITH ONLY 2003 ORIGINAL ONE OWNER MILES..IT'S CERTAINLY ONE OF THE NICEST REMAINING EXAMPLES OF THIS INCREDIBLE RARE CONTEMPORY MOTORCYCLES LEFT AND MAYBE THE NICEST. IT'S READY FOR THE MUSEUM OR THE ROAD...YOUR CHOICE AND IF IT'S MAINTAINED TO ITS CURRENT STANDARDS..ITS DESTINED TO APPRECIATE IN VALUE OVER THE YEARS IN MY OPINION.

This beautifully maintained BMW R SERIES-R1200C-Phoenix is almost perfect in both form and function. Check out the suspension on this amazing motorcycle. Doesn't the rear suspension remind you of a top notch motocross dirt bike? And doesn't it look great? The rear suspension specs are Die cast aluminium single sided swinging arm with BMW Motorrad Monolever; central strut, spring pre-load mechanically adjustable. What this means to you is a dialed in controllable ride that you can adjust to your own weight and can cater to your preference for a softer or firmer ride.

BMW calls the front suspension: "BMW Motorrad Telelever; stanchion diameter 35 mm, central strut". I call it AWESOME. The feeling of control and stability in this 2000 BMW-R-Series confidence inspiring. And it's light in weight in comparison to a full dresser which makes it much easier to handle and maneuver.

THIS GERMAN CRUISER IS SOMETIMES REFERRED TO AS THE "Bond Look-A-Like" AS THIS MODEL WAS USED IN THE JAMES BOND THRILLER "Tomorrow Never Dies".

THIS BIKE HAS ABS BRAKES....AN AMAZING ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM THAT WILL HELP KEEP YOU OUT OF TROUBLE. It also has heated grips to make colder riding easier on the rider.

It Has Totally Beautiful Engine Guards That Are Fully Functional As Well. This Bike Has Never Been Dropped Or Down....But Just In Case...The Engine Guards Would Come In Handy.

It Has A Beautiful Set Of Quartz Running Lights To Accent The Stock BMW Headlight...Looks Great And The Safety Benefits Speak For Themselves.

The Little Bitty Passenger Seat Has Been Replaced With An Optional Passenger Seat That A Real Person Can Sit On. Your Passenger Will Thank You For This One.

AND LET'S TALK ABOUT FUEL EFFICIENCY. THIS BIKE IS FUEL INJECTED. NO CARBERATORS. THIS IS A MOTORCYCLE CARB FREE DIET....LOL. AND SHE SIPS FUEL RATHER THAN DRINKS. SHE WILL AVERAGE ABOUT 50 MPG AT HIGHWAY CRUISING SPEEDS.

The Locking Rear Bags Are Amazing. They Are Actually Hard Plastic Bags But Are Beautifully Clad In Leather. Also, They Come Off The Bike With A Flick Of A Switch And Can Be Brought Into The Motel Or Hotel Serving As Regular Luggage With Their Handles.
